Product Support
Our Product Support Department is staffed with skilled professionals proficient in in-field measuring, research and development (R&D), installation, and in-house design. Our technicians collaborate closely with the Engineering Department for design, testing, and installation purposes.
HCT has over 75 years of combined technical training. Our Product Support reps are all former Technicians with background working for all major manufacturers. Komatsu, Deere/Hitachi, Link Belt/Case, Kobleco, Doosan/Develon and Hyundai.
HCT has OEM relationships with all the OEMs for any additional support to help with our Hydraulic Kits should you have issues.
General Safety Guidelines
- Obtain a Service Manual on your carrier machine from the manufacturer. Study and follow all safety recommendations. If there are discrepancies between our guidelines and those of the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s safety instructions must take precedence. This is especially important regarding welding procedures.
- Always wear proper PPE when installing or adjusting hydraulic components.
- Before welding, disconnect the battery cables and cover all cylinder rods and other vulnerable components.
- Always ground the welding lead in such a way that current cannot arc through bearings, pins, or other main components.
- Due to the nature of oil under high-pressure, it is necessary to use proper PPE’s and some type of shielding to check for possible leaks in the circuit.
